Jun 16,  · If you're new to Porcupine Tree probably a good place to start with their early material is 'Up the Downstair'. It's a more consistent offering of their (Steve Wilson's) older material. Don't get me wrong - there are some great tracks on this album but there are also a few that don't stand the test of time that well & that might put a few /5(94).

Aug 13,  · I just ordered Up The Downstairs on vinyl from Burning Shed. I was listening to Insurgentes on vinyl last night and was thinking how much I enjoy listening to PT on vinyl. 2 albums I regret not getting on vinyl when I had the chance are Signify and In Absentia. Now I'm not willing to pay what their going for.
